About Me

I'm a clinical mental health counselor specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I earned my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. I also completed advanced clinical training in relational psychodynamic psychotherapy and supervision through the Contemporary Psychodynamic Institute. My clinical and scholarly work centers on psychodynamic theory and practice, with particular interests in developmental trauma, personality disorders, counselor formation, and the intersections of psychology, spirituality, and mental health.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as Associate Professor in the Clinical Counseling Program at Point Loma Nazarene University, where I teach and supervise graduate counseling students. I'm also an Approved Clinical Supervisor and provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed counselors, as well as consultation and continuing education to licensed mental health professionals.

 

My practice is based in Atlanta and conducted entirely through telehealth. I'm licensed to provide psychotherapy in Georgia and Florida.
