Patient Information
Here you'll find practical information for current and prospective psychotherapy patients, including fees, insurance reimbursement, telehealth, scheduling, and getting started. If you have questions or are considering therapy, please feel free to reach out.
Fees & Insurance
The fee for individual psychotherapy is $165 for a 50-minute session. Payment is due at the time of each session.
I do not participate in insurance plans. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because coverage varies by plan, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.
Telehealth
I provide psychotherapy to patients throughout Georgia and Florida using a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Sessions are conducted entirely online, allowing you to meet from the privacy and convenience of your home or office. I am not currently accepting patients for in-person psychotherapy.
Scheduling
Psychotherapy is typically scheduled on a weekly basis, although the frequency of sessions may change over the course of treatment depending on your needs and aims.
Once an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved for you. Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full session fee.
Getting Started
If you're interested in working together, please reach out to schedule an initial consultation. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether my approach seems like a good fit.
If we decide to begin working together, our first few sessions will give us an opportunity to better understand what brings you to therapy, consider what you hope to gain from treatment, and begin developing a focus for our work together.
